What do we recycle at the club?
Our Recycling Champion is Bernadette Rowlands - ask her about this subject!
PLASTIC
We currently recycle all plastic bottles/ball containers in the green bin marked with a big yellow blob. The container is situated by the outside courts
PLEASE ensure that plastic bottles are emptied of fluids before placing in the container.
Metal - Glass
A recycle box - with a yellow blob, has also been placed near the plastic recycling bin for all metal & glass refuse
TENNIS BALLS
The club uses a lot of tennis balls through the year, and when the old balls are no longer required - we recycle them!
Rather than throw them away, club members can take these to be used in other ways. We know that old balls are being used by local cricket clubs, hospitals, animal training, schools and for home use!
